Summary Report : Towards industrial Cluster Decarbonisation in the Black Country: The Aluminium Re-Processing opportunity

Repowering the Black Country is an Innovate UK project that aims to develop plans to support reduction of industrial emissions in the Black Country Cluster to zero by 2040 through a programme of transformational projects focused around a new type of industrial estate:”zero carbon hub”. The WMG Supply Chain Research Group (SCRG) was selected to undertake the first feasibility study into the creation of a power hub based on aluminium reprocessing at the Phoenix 10 site in Walsall.
